Cheshire Rail Trail South Clean-Up

April 21, 2023 by Lynne Borofsky

Hey rail trail lovers, there are a lot of trees down on the Cheshire Trail South. The Sno-Moles are coordinating a work party this Saturday 4.22.2023. Meeting at the plaza in Troy at 8:30 am sharp. The goal is to clear the trail moving north from Troy to Keene/Swanzey town line. Most of the downed trees are in Troy and Marlborough. Bring a chainsaw if you are state certified. Also bring a pole saw, gloves, safety glasses, etc. There is a washer and dryer ~100 ft over the embankment located ~500 yards north of Joslyn Station RD on the east side of the rail bed. The trees with yellow ribbon identify the location. Thanks to the Sno-Moles for organizing this event! It is greatly appreciated!Hope to see you there.
